Free UCSB Reads Book for UCSB Students
Posted by UCSB Library on December 24, 2010
The UCSB Library will distribute over 2,000 free copies of this year’s UCSB Reads selected book to UCSB students, beginning at noon on January 6, 2011. Come by the library to get your copy before they run out. After you finish reading the book, you can redistribute your copy to another reader! There will be a collection box in UCSB’s Davidson Library for this purpose.
About UCSB Reads:
UCSB Reads is an initiative of the UCSB Library that engages the campus and the Santa Barbara community through reading the same book and discussing relevant topics. This year’s theme is Our Bodies, Our Cells: Exploring Identity. The book chosen for discussion is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. For more information about this year’s program, see our UCSB Reads 2011 site.
