eBook Versions of the UCSB Reads Book Available

Posted by UCSB Library on December 1, 2010

Note:  The deadline to register for an eBook copy was Jan. 3, 2011.

On January 6, 2011, we will be kicking off our fifth year of UCSB Reads.  This year’s theme is “Our Bodies, Our Cells:  Exploring Identity.” The book chosen for discussion is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.

In addition to print volumes, we will also be giving away 100 eBook copies of this title.  These copies will be free for UCSB students, faculty, and staff and can be read on a number of devices including Kindle, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android , Mac, and PC.

One entry per person.  If more than 100 people register we will conduct a random drawing to determine who will receive an electronic copy.  Good luck!
