Library Receives 388 Suggestions for UCSB Reads

Posted by UCSB Libraries on June 25, 2010

Thanks to everyone who recommended a book,  an author, or a theme for UCSB Reads 2011. We are currently reviewing the 388 suggestions that we received. This was an impressive response and we appreciate your interest and your passion for books and reading. The Kindle prize was awarded to  senior Stephanie Caral, below.

We’ll be announcing the offical book in August and the UCSB Reads 2011 program will kick off in the Winter Quarter.

We’re excited to be entering into the 5th year and are planning ways to involve the campus and the community. If you’d like to help out please contact Brian Mathews
