New bottle and can recycling in Davidson Library
Posted by UCSB Libraries on October 22, 2007
The Library now has beverage recycling containers on each floor and in the 24 Hour Room of the Library. These bins have proven to be enormously successful in diverting lots of plastic, glass and aluminum from the waste stream.
We also participate in the A.S. technotrash recycling effort and have 3 large containers at the east exit of the Library where you can recycle your cell phones, diskettes, cds, dvds, household batteries, and other electronic waste.
